And a bonus bit of sightseeing today...
Jenny, the China ODC Reynolds director, and Cathy, her coordinator, Shelen, her office manager, and I went to a nice Chinese (what else?) restaurant overlooking what's billed as the biggest fountain in Asia. "Fountain" is a bit of a misnomer as it's really a large flat area with a bunch (and I mean BUNCH, possibly 1000 or more) high-pressure jets of water. There are regular shows on this fountain where the jets of water are choreographed to music. The show is about 20 minutes and is awesome! The one we watched started after dark and with the lights was really cool. Here are a few shots.
This shot is of the Big Goose Pagoda at the edge of the park in which the fountain sits.

This shot is of the wall under the Pagoda and is where the main water jets are. Note the water sheets pouring over it.

Here's a link to some of the background on the Pagoda and the fountain: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/shaanxi/xian/bigwildgoose.htm
These shots are all of the fountains in action during the show. Awesome!

On the return from dinner, I finally "soloed" and took the taxi back from the Software Park to the hotel alone. When we left the fountain, there were 4 of us and one by one, the ladies bailed out between the fountain park and the software park. That left me to finish the journey to the hotel by myself, which worked out fine. (But, they stuck me with the cab fare... :-) )
